You do have an optimised map? As that was one reason why my map couldn't compile.

Yeah, it's optimized, my computer just doesn't like normal compiling. It takes around two minutes for normal compile.

And all the files are ready for SVN except the maphtml thing. I have no idea how to make that.

Well, it looks like yet again It won't be in dev. Sorry about that guys, my computer just wouldn't compile the map on normal settings, and the VBCT didn't help either. I talked with AndY and he said if I sent him the vmf he'd have one of the mappers take a look at it and see how badly I failed at optimization, or if it's just my computer.

Any news? I know how to make the maphtml. It's the thing you get when you choose teams. I would be able to make it for you if I know what you want on it.

Actually, AndY said he'd add it if I included a text file with what I want it to say. All that's really left is the compile thing, which has apparently been taken care of. But I'm not sure, so I'm gonna give it another go at normal compile.

Nope...I tried having my computer compile it while I was at school today but my Mom had to shut it down because it was so hot you couldn't touch it. My computer literally CAN'T compile the map, even though I went in and fixed up visleaves/light optimization.

Jezus Christ. How did you get it so hot? My pc is an overclocked without an proper-fan and used all day!. It doesn't get hot

They're good for mobility of course, but apparently not for compiling. I'm gonna attempt compiling on a desktop and see if that works better.

I know, although mine's been surprisingly adequate at games. this is the only thing it's really failed at, I can play all Valve games With little or no lag and I run a server on it.

They are if you overclock them %50+ and change surfaces every 5 minutes :D

So, the first test with many people indicated that this map is too hard for smaller groups of rebels. I'll work on nerfing OW forces a bit.

And it was pretty laggy for me, but I'm a european so it could be internet

The server we were playing on was laggy on the other maps too, But I'll attempt to optimize it even further. Areaportals literally don't work for me, They act closed always, even when they start open, even when they recieve an input to open and thre were no areaportal leaks. I just got rid of all of them.

You should also make clear that the bunker generator can be destroyed with bullets

Actually, all generators in the map can be destroyed with enough of any weapon, because I don't know how to make it only take damage from explosives.

You couls use a filter. Failing that, you could probably increase the minimum damgage required to damage it, and that might work.
