Generators (Not Showing HP nor Taking Correct Damage)
Posted by SolidSnake916 on 24 August 2010 - 06:15 PM
When throwing grenades, sometimes they take the correct damage, if the grenade is at the bottom of it, you will waste over 5 grenades doing no damage or very minimal. Shooting a SMG grenade at the base where the blue circle is, inflicts the right damage it seems, and it will take 3 smg grenades to blow up. The overwatch gets a high advantage when this happens, and most players don't even make it past the first generator.
I Have Attached a zip file with a Demo i recorded of the generator messing up. and a image of a full server with people puzzled on why we threw atleast 20 grenades at this thing and got raped by the overwatch.
Type Demoui in console to access the Demo Playback Interface, or play it by typinf play filename in console.
Place the .dem file in the overwatch root directory.

We haven't been able to reproduce this. I'd recommend trying it on a server not running any 3rd-party plugins like SM.

The issue was caused by some files being overwritten on the server end, so it was not an issue with Overwatch itself.
Issue caused by Scripts extracted from Source 2007 Binaries.gcf to add more modification, in which i add weapon_grenade.txt to scripts and it broke it. I have since had no extra scripts and no problem has arisen. This issue was clearly my fault. Awkward that it may be, sourcemod wasn't the cause lol.
