So far, we've covered Overwatch Love & Favourite Features, Sides & Least Favourite Features and Ground Players (Resistance) in our epic feedback series. It's now time for part four! Note that Overhead Player (OP) refers to the GM/Overwatch side.
⇒ Question #1
How would you rate the OP's view angle and controls (zoom in/out, move right/left/forward/backward)? How could they be improved (different angle, different controls, buttons on the UI, add panning of the camera, etc..)? Explain in detail!

In your opinion, if we allow two Overhead Players on the same team, would they be able to play cooperatively? If so, how?

Well, I think the current angle is perfect, maybe adding the ability to move through levels, and in that case we can create more maps:D

Well... maybe the OP1 controll the light units( the combine soldiers, civil protection, manhacks) the OP2 controll the abilities and heavy units( headcrab canisters, snipers, striders, combine elites, gunships)
What two (or more) features would you like to see added to the OP side? Note that the features you list in your answer must not be specific to the Half-Life 2 universe.
-resources, pop limit, baracks system
-the ability to sending headcrab canisters everywhere in the map( same in the artillery)
-hear our soldiers' radiochatter, anserwing our orders,(( maybe the ability to recolouring our soldiers like in warhammer 40k))

I think it's perfect. But I would like to suggest this for vertical maps: Brush suggestion

Just like what Gabe said. Maybe give both separate objectives.

- Maybe put the infantry in squads so controlling your units is much more easier.
- Headcrab canisters being able to be shot all over the map(like generals ability in C&C generals).

I say have it at a slight angle, instead of 90 degrees looking directly downward, maybe 80 or 75 degrees. Not 45 degrees such as how that bug made it a while back, just a slight angle. I have also noticed that the movement is a bit quirky, you can move in any direction, and as you stop to a halt, your movement nudges in the direction just a bit. More precise and more accurate movement. As well as the zoom in camera, there wouldn't be a way for you to actually move within the world instead of your vision just zooming in, would there? And make it so using the "ALT" button or something that you can rotate your camera. Coupled with the 75 degree view, this could be infinitely helpful to shifting your view on the battlefield.

Do NOT have two OP. It would be the ultimate mess.

- Global Powers that can be activated anywhere on the map(shooting headcrab shells anywhere on the map, calling in a dropship of infantry)
- A better HUD with more detailed information, more commands for your troops(such as patrol, hold position)as well as unit stances(defensive stance, aggressive stance)
- A Barracks System with a population limit
- A Resources System
- Maybe actual buildable structures, or being able to place down structures, such as if you wanted to build a sentry turret, a way to place the down and set the facing to anywhere you want on the battlefield, as long as it costs resources
- Upgrades(farther LOS for infantry, the "Grenade Throw" ability for infantry)

I think it's good as it is really.

If there are two OW players and a resource system is implemented, then the ability to share units and so on would be good. The maps would have to be much larger for multiple OPs to be needed though.

Ability to use traps such as headcrab shells everywhere, more control over the individual units (waypoints, throw grenade, etc.) and maybe an ability to change the unit's loadout. For instance, if you accidentally spawn a shotgun soldier when you would need an SMG one, you could move the unit to the spawn area and change it's loadout, but this might be too complicated.
EDIT: Joker brought up a good point, the ability to place structures would be cool, like putting down turrets and small barricades at any location.

The Overwatch (GM/OP) movement system has no game-breaking elements. Movement is simple, there are no known bugs present and the Overwatch can't go beyond the bounds of the map like in other games. But as The Joker mentioned earlier, movement can be "a bit quirky". This is purely cosmetic so it doesn't seem like such a concern. In short, the Overwatch movements could be a little smoother (but it's not really an issue).

Answer #2 : If we go 2 Overwatch, both of them will have his own tactic, his own ideas and maybe the other Overwatch will break everything he does. So it will be hard to implent this.

-Barrack spawn system
-Population limit system
-"Grenade throw" ability
-"Select all units" ability
-A more complete HUD : add a button to create squads, an alert who tell you if a unit/major objective is attacked...
PS : A lot of people asked for a ressources system : I don't want it ! The actual spawn system is good and prevent units spam a little bit. Adding a population system will completely prevent this.

I'd say the controls are a far cry better than the ZM's awkward 3D controls. However, it would be really nice if you could fix that bug in 1.3.5 where spinning while being selected for OP screws-up your scrolling.

How about you put one person in charge of ground units, and leave the other one to coordinate support abilities?
I don't really know how you could have them cooperate peacefully, but you could definitely have them compete. Whoever kills the most rebels and/or fulfills the most objectives wins.

I like it. I have nothing to add to this. Maybe hotkeys to instantly center on different targets like the furtherest(spelling?) rebel, the one most behind, and their current objective?

Yes. I think that two OP would be able to coop. It would allow for more intresting microing, but it could also be done with a playercontrolled combine soldier? I'd still rather see two RTS playing OP's. They would need features however like pinging positions, targets and marking routes.

(more) Traps with your own coordinates (coast headcrabcanisteres, etc).
More different troops to allow for much more complex microing and strategies. Snipers (not the window ones from HL2, but walkable ones, or maybe stationairy ones?) Grenadiers and such.
