Invalid Steam UserID

Hey, I've been having a super annoying problem. Whenever I try to connect to a server, It disconnects me shortly after with the error message "Disconnect: Invalid STEAM UserID Ticket" It happens on all Overwatch servers, for both the Dev build and normal. I have restarted both my computer and Steam multiple times. Any info on why this is happening would be appreciated.

Try logging out of Steam (Library > Steam > Change User) then logging back in. Closing/relaunching Steam isn't enough.
Let me know if it works!

Whoo, it worked! Thanks so much. Too bad I missed the community playtime though.
That's because I could be on for a few seconds, but then i'd get kicked.
Also, interestingly, My User interface dissapeared for a while, until I relogged. No Idea why that happened, but it's back now, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Yeah i'm getting the same problem but relogging like you suggested dosn't fix it. Anything else I can try?

Quick update regarding this very annoying issue.
There are two possible fixes (attempt Fix #2 only if Fix #1 doesn't solve the problem):
If you've tried both and are still having trouble, please let me know!

- Find and delete the userdata folder
- Restart Steam
- Exit Steam (shut it down completely)
