When I'm medic, when someone use the voice command "Medic", I take some time before found him.....
So I got an idea : when a player use a voice command, a sign remplace the classic "green arrow" by something else, depending of the voice command. Of course, this sign could be see only by the people who heard the voice of the voice command (and if after you think I'm not french......)
Example : When a player use the voice command "Help !", his "green arrow" is remplaced by a "!" for ~5 seconds. For "Medic !", a red crosshair with a "!". Ect....

Hell yeah!
I like that idea, because it is so frustating when I am a medic and the teammates get me to hell because I don't know where are the injured soldiers...
But the other voice commands...I don't know, but these are so useless...

Great idea. Team Fortress 2 added a patch that put dynamic icons over the player's head, when a player called Medic, the game would automatically determine its highest danger to the player and had that icon shown the medic. We could add icons to the three commands for Medic, Grenade, and Help. And besides the medic icon, we could use these for all the players... Anyway, for the icons, maybe we could these:
Grenade:
Help:
Grenade:
Help:

This is a good idea. It would make a great, polished look if you could add a short animation leading-up to image. Sadly, I cannot show you what I mean as I do not have the technology to make these animations nor do I have the effort in me to find and install it.
On to the subject of the icons.
"Help" would be semi-useful, a small orange exclamation point would suffice.
"Medic" is the one I like the best because it is the most useful. The red cross is just natural for this.
"Grenade", on the other hand, is the one I dislike the most. Because it would draw attention to the person who sees the grenade instead of grenade itself. It could also make people panic needlessly as some smart-ass randomly calls it out and the icon appears in the middle of the Rebel group.
"This Way" would come in handy occasionally as people who haven't played a map would need help from the veterans and this would mark the person who says it so people can find their way. Two curved green arrows that point at whomever says "This Way" should convey the meaning.
"I'm Staying Here" is useless. There is no reason common enough to need this to warrant cluttering your HUD. If people need to notify others that they are staying there, they can simply type or say it.
"I'm Following You" I disapprove of for the same reason as stated above.
"Idle Question" would be fun to incorporate. Three unobtrusive black periods over someone as they idle-ly talk would be a nice que to give an "Idle Answer" and it would not distract people in the heat of battle.
