This map probably won't be completely finished by Christmas but oh well :p. The inspiration behind the map came from Jhen Moran in MH3 (http://www.youtube.c...h?v=JEVnnq9juwU). The OW will start off with basic units and as the map progresses will unlock more powerful ones. Both ships will be moving forward the whole time in a "race". The objective for the OW is to kill the Resistance before they reach their destination and the Resistance just needs to survive. The Resistance will have some ship attachments (a cannon, a bridge to walk across to the opposing ship, etc) that will be unlocked overtime. All of the ship attachments will have a limit on their use or a cooldown time. Reviving fallen players will not be allowed, but there is a chance to be brought back to life if your team makes it to the next check point. The water below is freezing cold also so touching it will result in instant death. I'll update this with screens and more gameplay related things overtime. http://img43.imagesh...ristmas0000.jpg

[OW_Christmas] Information

Alright so I felt that it was about time for an update about the map as there have been many large changes. First of all the concept of the map has changes slightly. Since nodes cannot be parented to moving objects I had to change it to a one sleigh map. The Resistance is riding in Santa's sleigh while the GM spawns NPC's on floating islands. For players using the GM you also have two buttons that will spawn either Headcrabs or Manhacks directly onto the Resistance sleigh. These have a cooldown time of one minute which is something to keep in mind. Players using the Resistance might initially have an awkward time settling into how the map works and so to avoid questions that'd be ask upon the arrival of each new player I'm putting this information on the thread.

Ammo Buttons.
- The Ammo buttons actually teleport you out of the boat for a quick second and bring you back. This is because template spawners and normal ammo boxes did not work on the moving sleigh. This was the only and most simple solution to the problem and it works well at the moment.

Sniper and Rocketman Classes
- These buttons work the same as the ammo buttons. Just be warned that if you are either the Sniper or Rocketman you do not get extra ammo, so please conserve it for the sake of your team.

Respawning
- Since many deaths occur when players fall into the freezing water below I decided not the allow respawning. I may enable players to respawn at every checkpoint.

The Cabin
- To get to the cabin (the bottom level of the sleigh) it will teleport you there. This is because using a ladder on a moving object resulted in a violent shaking of the player.

General Teleportation
-The excessive use of teleportation is because it's the easiest way to make sure no player is left behind when getting back onto the boat after it's docked.

These Buttons Aren't Doing Anything?
-There is a portion where the GM will press buttons and it will seem as if units did not spawn. The units did spawn, but they were warped to the resistance ship.

For now that is all. If you have any questions please ask them on this thread.
