Hi Guys, I was just wondering if I need HL2 to play Overwatch. I have TF2 and CS:S which are the only Source games I own as well as Garry's Mod. So do I need HL2 or any of the episodes to play?

Any feedback will be great

Thanks

IIRC you need any source game. So I think you are good to go.

Yes. Any game that includes the source sdk will do fine.

Wait. Which one? I have Source SDK Base 2006, Source SDK Base 2007, and Source SDK.

SDK Base 2007 is what Overwatch uses, but Steam might install bits and pieces of the others as well.

All that matters is that you own at least one Source-based game (like Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Left 4 Dead, Day of Defeat: Source, Counter-Strike: Source, etc..).
