On a more serious note, the new build of the Source engine has quite a few nifty features.

To be honest, I wouldn't really mind if we were controlling bug things or combine soldiers; and if it was using the Alien Swarm SDK as opposed to the Source 2007 SDK then there would be a greater amount of potential players. :
