Upon launching overwatch, I tried to find servers only to see that "Steam Beta must be running to find servers". It's not a huge deal, I can just opt-in to the beta, but I'm wondering why this is or if it's a bug.

A friend of mine had the same issue with another game (Day of Defeat: Source). He says restarting Steam usually helps. A logout/login might also help.
I honestly have no idea what's causing it. I see a few posts on the Steam forums since 2009 about this problem, but there doesn't seem be to a cause mentioned.
