Overwatch crashes at menu

Overwatch crashes at the menu. I get this message (Engine Error) Could not load library client


anyone knows how to fix this :dizzy:

Hello,

It looks like it didn't install properly. Where did you download it from?

If you used the installer and it didn't work, you can try grabbing the ZIP file: http://www.moddb.com...client-fileszip

i used the zip folder. I extracted overwatch to sourcemods. I have tried to remove it, and replace it again but it doesnt work. i downloaded it from moddb.com. i have also tried to log out and login to steam, but that doesnt work either :no

i have tried it before, but i got this error today for no reason :( the same happened to my brother. any suggestions?

hi

i have tried installer and zip file, i get the same message. i have installed it correctly it worked yesterday but it doesnt now. any ida how to fix it, i would appreciate it.

it started working again :w00t: i know this is out of the topic but how do i create a server, when i choose create server i can only create lan server. but people cant join me when i create lan games.

Hi,

If you create a LAN server and then set sv_lan 0 in console, it should work (assuming you've set your router to forward the appropriate ports).

There are two dedicated servers (listed here) that are always online that you can use as well.
