I will say that Crusader Kings 2(great game by the way) has the best marketing campaign.

Haha, that's awesome. The ending of the Greed trailer was the best part.

I'd say Portal 2 and the Potato Sack. The ridiculous amount of hype that Portal 2 gathered from the ARG still amazes me.
