With the development work on Overwatch's upcoming 1.5.0 release pretty much complete, we'd like to invite the community to participate in scheduled playtests over the next few weeks to help us track down any remaining issues.

We'll be releasing the details of these playtests (and how to download/install the development build) very soon. In the meantime, we ask that anyone interested in participating post a quick reply in this thread so that we can notify you as soon as it's all ready.

In your reply, please include whether you'd prefer the playtests to be held on weekdays or weekends and, if you pick weekends, mention if you'd rather they be scheduled before or after the current community playtimes.

We're looking forward to finally playing the next OW release with you!

Dev build is ready! Read the details in this thread and join us for the playtime events scheduled on our Steam group!

Anytime.

Is Okuda going to update the Overwatch development build too? (Since I already got it installed)

I can do it, if it's at a time other than 10 PM GMT +1 on Saturday and sunday.

Probably not for the first week (we'll keep using the SVN updater), but we'll soon want to test Okuda too, so we'll switch over at some point.

I forgot to mention: Let me know if you'd prefer the playtests be on weekdays or weekends, and if you choose weekends, if you'd rather they be before or after the existing OW community playtimes.

I would prefer it to be on weekends after the community playtime.

I'd love to join. Weekends after the community playtime sound good.

I will try to get in to the tests... sadly somehow I can not update my dev version, but think just need to reinstall it. The time... I think one of the community playtime events (prefered one on a saturday) should be come a testing one, because otherwise for me it might be to late to help testing. Current playtimes are at a good time, later and I will not be able to help, earlier I think will be to early for many other people...

Is Okuda updated too or do you have to download through the SVN?

Seems like Okuda also updated to revision 1738?

Okuda hasn't been released yet, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. :P

Oh, I always thought the Overwatch auto-update program was Okuda, my mistake! :P
