Well..that is not worked!!!! I get the same message to update to 1647, and my current version is the same 1647M...Okay....Try the hard way.....
Downloaded the setup file for the DEV version and try the two options and these are not worked too??? WTF???
So my question is: what is that 1647M??? I can play in server but a little bit annoying to say, update my version...Please, help!
Here a screenshot to confirm my true.

I possess that as well. I believe it has to do with the mod mounting tf2 content or something. If you go to "addons" in the mod directory you'll see there is a red exclamation point next to the folder. I believe everyone has that, because after updates to the Source SDK Base, as well as TF2 making the Source SDK free and what not, I believe that folder has been messed up, and since the dev hasn't been updated in months, no one is doing anything about it.
Its just the way it is. Leave it.

We don't have any content mounted. TF2 going free shouldn't have affected anything at all, specially not any of the mod files. No matter what Valve changes, nothing they do could ever affect files within the mod directory; that just doesn't make sense.
The addon folder only contains server plugins. It is possible that one of the files within gets modified if you launch a local/listen server, and the M basically means that a local file has been modified and is no longer the same as the version on SVN. Whatever it is though, it has no effect on anything of importance (which is why it doesn't warrant pushing a commit/update).
Having said that, I'm curious to find out what it is. Gabe: If you have time at some point, swing by IRC (WebChat) and we'll talk about it. Thanks.

Well...thanks for the invitation, but before I do that I'll reinstal the DEV, and after that checking out, there will be this problem or not.
Update: Finally downloaded everything, taking 2 hours, but the DEV is finally 1647, not 1647M (thank you JOKER very much:D)

If anyone else encounters this, please don't waste time and bandwidth redownloading everything and, if you can, let me know which file is the one that's marked as modified.

Can you send me your updater.log and updater_errors.log files? They're in your Overwatch folder.
