Hmm, what's more important? I think download speeds, but I'm not an master of the internets

BTW, this must be the reason I am able to play on US servers without any little bit of lag.

It all depends on what you need it for. I have to upload large files (like the OW installers), so better upload speeds would be great for me.

Not exactly. Bandwidth doesn't affect your latency to other servers.
