Welcome to my Pick-a-Path Crossover Event!

Here we will see a hero fight for money, glory, revenge, or just survival in a setting completely different from his own. Some are well-known, especially in this social circle, but one or two are obscure favorites of mine.

Part 1

Quiet footsteps echoed through Aperture Science as a lone man walked out of the locker room.

"So... where were we?" The Spy muttered to himself as he switfly knotted his tie. He went through his contract with Black Mesa in his mind, checking-off all the objectives he had fulfilled. Important documents stolen... He filed-through his briefcase one last time before leaving it at the door. Unimportant documents destroyed... He lit a match and threw it into the pile of papers he ran through the shredder earlier. Key staff members murdered... He glanced around the facility.

The visitor center, once a clean white display of money, was now decaying ruins. The floor was scattered with ceiling tiles, the dark gray marble floor was pitted and scratched. Bats occasionally flit into the room via the elevator shaft at the far end of the room. The crumbling furniture without a doubt cost Aperture around ten thousand dollars.

The Spy checked-off the rest of his contract in his head as tucked his revolver and his last sapper into his coat, which somehow managed to hide the bulge of the sapper on his chest. Destroy the Genetic Lifeform and Disk-Operating System... He glanced-up at the camera tracking his every movement.

Just to be sure it wasn't a motion tracking camera and in fact watching him specifically, he balled-up his test subject jumpsuit and threw it across the room, no response. He sprinted across the room to a sealed door that read "EMPLOYEES ONLY", the camera followed him. He slowly tapped-in the access codes he got from the important documents as he planned his next move.

A low whirring sound from behind the walls was slowly becoming audible.

The Spy barreled-through the door directly to his left, leaping into...

Thin air.

The floor was already 10 feet away. It was a janitor's closet, anyway so it wouldn't have done much good to hide in there. With solemn acceptance, he silently plummetted through the miles of testing facility, sure to meet his doom. At the bottom of floor of the caverous expanse, he did not end with a bang, or a splat, or with any mark of his existence whatsoever. Just a quiet splash as he landed in the lake of caustic sludge that has gathered under Aperture Science.

The Spy faded away and the door partially opened then slammed shut. On the other side was a long hallway lit with cheap fluorescents. There were irregularly spaced doors lining the walls, and the ceiling was riddled with holes through which machinery could be seen. At the far end of the hall could was a large metal door with “MANUFACTUING” printed in bold yellow print.

Back in the visitor’s center, the giant 60’s style Aperture Science emblem opened-up and a pneumatic tube poked through the hole. A thick green gas poured-forth and flooded the giant room. Bats fell from the ceiling, twitching from wisps of deadly neurotoxin, into the murky green sea.

A neutral, ever-so-slightly robotic, male voice said “Deadly neurotoxin detected in the visitor’s center. Initiating Visitor Assassination Employ Protection sequence.” A slab of steel abruptly clunked down behind the invisible Spy, and the voice echoed “Thank you, valued employees, for bringing your beloved friends and family to the Aperture Science non-Deadly ‘Bring your Beloved Family Members You Speak with Most’ to Work Day; and thank you for saving valuable trade secrets from would-be moles!”

A much more robotic female voice followed this with “I know you’re still alive, up there. I watched you open the door.” A robotic claw smashed through the ceiling at the far end of the hall, then retracted. A few seconds later it carefully lowered a turret into the room. “You know you’re not supposed to be in there. It’s and employees only area. And you’re not an employee.”

You Invis-Watch only has about three seconds left on it. What do you do?

• Quickly leaf-through your disguise kit for something to fool the turret.
  
• With the last if your invisibility, take door to your right and ahead of you.

Plot Premise:
After Atlas and P-Body freed all the test subjects, one of them escaped. After a quick trip to the Aperture Science visitor center to get back his things, the mercenary Spy ventured into manufacturing to find GLaDOS and sap her with his last Electro-Sapper for the money Black Mesa promised him, completely unaware that Black Mesa may no longer exist.
EDIT: Sunday or 10 votes. Whichever comes first.

Um is the deadringer going to be the saigns premium one? where you don't have to wait until it's full again?

So if I've never heard your real voice before, then you've got a lot of voice changers. By the way what use is it to put on a voice changer? Its not like you have some super-secret agency after you, using voice-recognition technology to hunt you-down via Steam's mic quality-eating VOIP... is there?

We might never know...if I knew what super-secret agency was spying on me, would it still be a super-secret agency?
So I will not use it if you are there next saturday & sunday. Overwatch dev is only 1,5 gigabyte.

Still, where did you think you heard my real voice? I only used 2 voices: The robot and the really afro-american one, you know what I mean.

For those of you still interested in a long-dead thread, I removed the last trapped choice (which you happened to choose) and reset the poll. 2 weeks from today (Tuesday, March 19) or miraculous 7 votes. Whichever I see first.
