Joining friends game issues

my friends and I have installed the latest version of overwatch and when we try and join a game one of us has created it says "server is not responding". this happens no matter who creates the game. any help with fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated

Hi Grimm502,

The issue is most probably that you're all behind routers, which will make it difficult to connect to each other's servers. You'd have to configure your routers to forward ports used by Half-Life 2 listen servers (I know 27015 is one of the ports, but I'm not sure about the others). A quick Google search will help you with that.

Any reason why you wouldn't rather use one of the existing servers?
