PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTO TO UNDERSTAND THE MAP:

This map is pretty much Omaha Beach in Normandy, France, but could be a map for Overwatch. Since it does fit in well with the Attack/Defend gametype like ow_breach, I think it would be an excellent map to add to the collection of Overwatch. The sketch explains it all, what are your thoughts?
Description:
As the Rebels begin push outside of White Forest, the Combine forces are spread far and thin. A small Rebel strike force crosses the English Channel and sets up a forward base on the beaches of Normandy, France. Communication complications plague the Combine forces across the channel, and are take by surprise when Rebel troops break through the Omaha perimeter and launch a full-scale assault on the Combine Headquarters. If lost, the entire district would be lost and the remaining Combine outposts would fall to the Rebels. Once again, war erupts on the beaches of Normandy, as Rebel and Overwatch forces clash, trying desperately to achieve victory.

There is a ridiculous amount of green and blue dots on that page. Far too many troop spawns and 'special abilities'.
Is there some kind of scale we can use for reference?

A) I have completely overhauled the sketch with less troop spawn points, and removed and shifted some of the special abilities. Just for your information, they are only placed in strategic positions, meaning turrets, manhacks, elites, dropships maybe, etc. I hppe this helps you understand the map.
B) I personally can't move the topic, but if an admin moves it, that's fine.
C) I have added a description to the original post above this post.

Nice backstory.
Thank you for editing the sketch too. Be all means, feel free to make your map (it's not like we can stop you anyway ). I think this one-sided offensive has merit.

Woa, I think you misunderstood. This is an idea, but I am NOT experienced enough to perform construction of an outside area, let alone an entire beach map. Its for discussion, and if another mapper wanted to take on the idea, that would be cool.
ALSO: If someone was to help with outdoor settings, I might be able to construct this map in my free time

how about you learn to map work on it and hopefully get part of it done so another mapper can finish it if you think mapping isn't your forte. (like i am trying with my map idea.)

Yeah, I really would like to work on my outdoor mapping skills. Plus, could you bring down the tone a bit, the way you said that was a little aggressive.
