what would you like to see in an overwatch map?

this is a thread you would like to see in custom maps made by the community, if someone wants to start an OW map but have no Idea what to make, they can come here and collect ideas.

post your Ideas for settings,
names
gameplay
and segments (where to start, where to end, some kind of special area, ect)
ect.


for starters...

- I would like to see a map that takes place on a bridge...
-I would like to see a puzzle map made for OW...
- I would like to see a map take place in a series of apartment buildings.
- a map that starts with all the spawns in different locations, and you need to regroup at a certain point before completing the objectives
- a night club...

what would you like to see?

I was thinking about the regrouping one with nova prospekt. Andy gave me the idea when we were playing the other day. Basicly everyone is in their own pods, but a master player spawn(first to be used) would make sure that at least one person was spawned outside a pod. I'd probably start working on this after acropolis...

a map where the overwatch can recap lost objectives, like the one I was making. (I have ceased development, so please take over)

I plan to make a map with these things in it but till then if someone can beat me to it id be happy to see it done

but

  • The OW can change the path the resistance has to take, changing the run through of the map each time or auto changing labyrinths with moving walls.
  • Puzzles that have to be solved and are never the same (subnetting killer samurai sodoku) or collecting numbers from around the level that change location to enter into a keypad to exit the level
  • escort / protect the prisoner
  • shifting rooms or floor adding platforming jumping skill into maps. (obstacle courses)
