Sort of an idea I just had. What if there was a cremator from the HL2 beta? The cremator in the HL2 beta was the "janitor." They would dispose of dead bodies, and trash by burning it with their stomache acids. They are heavily altered 7 foot walking human beings.

Good:
It can burn player's dead bodies and permanently kill them so they can no longer be revived.
They can be a good way to encourage players to protect their fallen players.
It can attack players, however only dealing little damage.

Bad:
It would most likely take more time to produce than a standard combine squad and come in packs of one or two.
They would be slow, and pretty easy to take down if people notice it.
They would probably require a brand new model and animations.

And for those who do not know what a creamtor is, it is this.

That'd make an interesting twist on the gameplay, I think. I also think it'd cause people to bunch up a lot more, as a single person on their own will die and be lost forever too easily, with it...

The text there does not support the idea of having this unit in game.

A unit whose only real use would be to kill dead players? :p

It would be annoying for the Resistance players when the Overwatch was using this unit well, and it would be annoying for the Overwatch to use the unit well. He'd need to keep the Cremator out of sight so that it wouldn't die too soon while at the same time try to kill the Resistance players with his other units, then quickly bring in the Cremator to clean up the bodies, take him out of sight again, and so on. If the Overwatch spawned more than one Cremator, his total firepower would drop too much. I don't see this unit as a fun gameplay element, and don't really have any ideas how to make him into one.

Also, if the Combine didn't think the players were already dead, they would just finish them off with bullets. You don't need an organic matter dissolving hose to kill someone crawling on the ground. But letting the normal Combine soldiers to finish off the revivable players wouldn't be a good gameplay element either, because then there wouldn't really be much point in having the revive ability to begin with.

Reviving is still a bit incoherent because it brings you back in full health and ammo, making dying and getting revived again sometimes be a benefit for the Resistance. This needs fixing, but there are other, better ways to make it work as it should than by introducing an entirely new gameplay element to clean up the mess (with a large hose).

That pic was just a pic of the cremator I found off of google. Just to show what they look like in case anyone forgot/never seen one.

I'll put it out there plain and simple.
Valve, the multi-billion dollar company who crafted the Half Life Universe and the Source Engine -the engine which this mod is currently using- among other best selling games, decided against the idea of implementing it into their flagship enterprise after years of development, and you just want to ignore all this information and throw it in anyway?

It would've served a different purpose in the gameplay of Overwatch than in Half-Life 2, so it's quite a different idea. There's no need to get hostile towards it. It's not like you need a multi-billion dollar company just to decide whether or not an NPC would fit into a game or not either.
