[HELP] When the Hammer Configuration Guide doesn't work.

Copy and paste the following file into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ACCOUNT_NAME\sourcesdk\bin\source2007\bin
(Or where ever your Steam folder is located and ACCOUNT_NAME being your Steam account name)
 GameConfig.txt   1.16K   315 downloads

Note: This is assuming you have no other games previously configured for use on the Source2007 engine. Replacing the existing file will remove any configuration data already present. (A good way to find out is to open the file.)

• If not, simply overwrite the existing file and edit using notepad. Replace every ACCOUNT_NAME with your Steam Account Name. Too easy.
  Also, if you have Steam installed on your computer somewhere other than C:\Program Files\Steam, you will also need to change that in the file (ie, to D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam etc.)
  
• If you have existing configuration data for Source2007, you will notice there is a pattern to the data already present in the GameInfo.txt file. Simply cut/copy the data from the attached file and paste it into the existing configuration file. (Open with Notepad.) Ensure everything is in its proper place (ie, follows the same pattern) and is enclosed correctly. Replace ACCOUNT_NAME with your Steam Account Name.
